All part of the PR for the stunt?

SOM are firing people again - oh, sorry, they like to be euphamistic - retrenching.

Why are you talking about Singo in connection with the NZ GIRL story? Is he somehow connected? How was the helicopter involved? Or is it David Brownlow up to his old tricks again?

Anonymous said:

Well you read it didn't you.

Yes, how many have gone?

Retrenching is not a euphamism, son. It's an actual item on the balance sheet.

Well Grandad you obviously work for SOM. And use of the term balance sheet pops, really isn't intimidating to us fresh faced youths in the industry.

Well said. These no-talent pinstriped fuckers that think that advertising is all about them and not about the people that actually make the beans should fall on a sharp part of their balance sheets and save everyone their salaries and the fuckin grief of having to explain to them every day that it's all only about the ideas.

this is like listening to an argument between some old guy and his teenage sons. Fucking purile. No wonder advertising has the lowest margins of just about any industry in Australia, the least amount of respect and the dimmest graduates. Most people in this business are either fucking stupid or fucking infantile, and quite often a combination of both. The minority who are neither are the people who are known for consistently being involved with the best work, either on the suit or creative side of business. And anyone who calls themselves a 'fresh faced youth' is actually an arse-felching loser of the highest magnitude.

You sound like the biggest wanker... your obvious contempt for everyone excxept those select few whose rectums you kiss is wholly apparent.

Agencies are the last producers of intellectual property yet to wake up and realise that they need to protect their work rather than giving it away to miserable, ungrateful clients. Trouble is, they will never be able to do it. Too egotistical, stupid, insular and shifty.
