hmmm guess you can't escape the squirt or the bubble....would be stronger as one campaign though

Very Tango-esque. Only not as good.

Very Rumba-esque. Only not as dancey.

Dig the pool party.Wadid you do man? Wadid you do?I like.Bubble boy is a bit random.Moustaches are funny but.

Just not funny. Pity because the idea has so much potential. The pool ad is nicely executed but it's still an anti-climax. As a campaign though, lots of room for improvement.Only 5 starbursts. Mr Opinionated Ad Knob #257 (aka your CD)

average. at best.

Lynchy, what happened to the D&AD predictions? Why were they removed?

Just got the official list of finalists and Nominations, which is embargoed until May 2nd. The list I compiled from various sources was speculative, but now there is an official list (and an embargo), best to take it off.

the pool idea is a good idea, well done

I like the pool one. Not a fan of the bubble one though.

I've seen the pool ad so many times that I now hate it. It makes me feel sick and I would never buy the product on the basis of that ad. It looks disgusting.

Anonymous said:

well done on the pool, there is some seriously bitter ppl here. If starburst had cum flavour you could do one with some of these bloggers covered in their own jizz from so much wanking

Anonymous said:

yeah pool is the goods.funny!I think the weird acting by bubble boy at the end lets it down - the lead up is funny.

well, I just scrape into the target market. I pissed myself laughing at bubble and took a double take. Still liked pool idea but as it was working backwards it took until he said "wadid you do maaaaan?" for the payoff to kick in.So there...

love the pool. hate the bubble boy. 1 out of 2 ain't bad

good stuff peoples. far more interesting and layered than the award school hubba bubba spot.

Anonymous said:

on paper, could be pretty funny - but the direction is just so flat. there's absolutely no tone of humour to it. sorry from my point of view, it's a re-do.that's why hubba bubba works, there's a great tone, the music is spot on and the scenes look cool. these starbursts are pretty clumsy at best.'fat pidgeon tango' now that's funny.

We did this at Howell Henry didn't we?

Director completely over rated. Just cos he's bwitish doesn't make him good.

Do all you hacks that bag the shit out of every single ad posted work on the Darryn Hinch Kellogs spots or something?Sure, not perfect, but a shitload better than Special K or any other shite thats churned out these days.

Anonymous said:

Yes, let's all aim for mediocrity!

Anonymous said:

It's Derryn Hinch, you squealing bunch of namby-pamby, overpaid, pseudo-hippies.Most of you are probably gay. Like Graham Kennedy. Now for God's sake put some clothes on and get back to what you euphemistically refer to as work.- Derryn.

Anonymous said:

I hate the pool ad. Love the bubble boy.

I am so in love with the bubble boy and now I can't find it anywhere on the web - I need to see it again or I will pass out. - felicity
