DAVIS NAMED 2008 CANNES JURY PRESIDENT - THIRD AUSSIE TO GET THE GIG IN A DECADE

CRAIG-DAVIS-SIMONE.jpgCB hears Australia's Craig Davis, worldwide creative director of JWT, is set to be named as the Cannes TV and Press Jury president for 2008. Undoubtedly a career highlight, Davis will be following in the wake of Aussies Bob Isherwood, worldwide CD of Saatchi's, who was president in 2001 and Droga5's Dave Droga, who got the gig in 2006. There could be an announcement as early as this week.
Davis is pictured here at CB's Colombe d'Or Lunch in Cannes this year with Simone Bartley, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia.
