EDEN CB Photo.jpegEden Martin, composer/music producer/mixer, has returned from Singapore to Sydney to start Eden Music Production – already composing tracks for Paul Smith out of New York and Kia’s GT Turbo launch for the Australian market.

Originally from London, Martin started out in the music business as programmer for legendary music producer Nellee Hooper, Björk and Lamb. He went on to work with Gwen Stefani, P. Diddy, Muse and Jaques Lu Cont, before composing music for Michel Gonrey’s Levi’s Type One “Swap” TVC and then moving to Australia in 2004.

After arriving in Sydney, Martin enjoyed nine years with Song Zu where his advertising client list included Canon, Google, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Li Ning, Smirnoff and Pepsi. During this time he was independently drafted by Baz Luhrmann as music editor for the movie “Australia” and went on to co-produce and mix the original soundtrack album with Luhrmann – which included tracks by Elton John, David Hirschfelder and John Butler.

Says Eden: “Now feels like the right time to do my own thing, and it’s great to be back in Sydney. I’ve established Eden Music Production to bring all the different areas of my music production under the one roof, providing a more intimate working environment, but still delivering the results you would expect from a large music house”.

In addition to the Paul Smith and Kia compositions, Eden recently completed the sound mixes for two films: “Dregs”, a post apocalyptic zombie survival story by director Richard Rudy, and “The Death And Resurrection Show“, a feature length documentary about the band Killing Joke, which is currently showing at the Cannes film festival.

On top of his TVC and film work, Eden has just been signed as a Record Producer/Remixer/Writer by Various Artists Management – home to Charlie XCX, The Libertines, Hounds and Echo And The Bunnymen.
