Clems has a Brainwave at Crown Casino
Crown were extremely generous and they put on the event for Brainwave
free of charge so that every cent raised actually went directly to
Brainwave. A gesture equalled by the generosity of the Commonwealth
Bank Local Business Banking Services team who had raised $10,000 for
Brainwave.
After a trip behind the scenes, learning about and observing the inner workings of the Crown banqueting area, guests retired to the Drawing Room for dessert and sticky wine, after enjoying treats and drinks along the way. Con & Helen Soultan from Pave Jewellery donated an individual designer piece, won by Mary Biggs, wife of Clemenger BBDO CEO Peter Biggs.
The Brainwave Foundation was formed to support children and their families with brain illnesses. These could be congenital or acquired illnesses and this financial and emotional support to children and their families is vital. Working closely with the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and the Royal Children's and Westmead Hospitals in Sydney, Brainwave plays an important role in these families' lives through either supply of equipment or support information that may help to make their lives a little easier.
