Aren't you supposed to judge the ad itself, not the campaign surrounding it?

I preferred the Noodle Box stuff. Any ad that can successfully rhyme "canoodle" with "noodle" deserves some sort of prize in my book.

SEXISM. (Now I've got your attention...)

Nice to see a good clean idea that's so true to the product.

Well done.

that noodle stuff is shit in a box.

Anonymous said:

I like it.
That's pretty much all you need to know.

I love the PR shots. These guys went sooo out of their way to break all the rules on the AWARD call for entries manual!

SBS is allright, Noodle Box is kooky in a thai ad kind of way. Neither is great but radio ads in Australia seldom are. Sad but true. Any complaints? Go write something better, get it done and enter it next round. My 50 cents.

Well at least the Mad Men stuff didn't rape their daughters.

Oooops. I say too much.

has anyone listened to the radio ads that won Lions this year. It's not that great. It's nothing earth shattering or ground breaking. Seriously, they're still awarding the national thoroughbread racing stuff and real american hero. Simple ideas well executed. That's all you need. I might even start trying it myself.

That's what is so great about Anonymous commenting, any idiot with no spine and verbal diarrhea, and more than likely personal and pathetic agendas, can say whatever they like with little care, or more importantly for them, recourse. Not that I care, as I am Anonymous, and there is not recourse to me.

Simple, great use of medium, stand out, surprising and above all utterly relevant to the product. Quite a rarity these days. Well done.

12:01, another cheap shot at the ASCA campaign. Siren winner, D&AD, Clio, One Show and Cannes finalists. Now, what have YOU done this year, 12:01? Please enlighten us, I'm really curious.

That Adrian is hot, but who is the other guy?

I flipping love the Noodle Box campaign. Would love to see it executed in print.

Looking good Nige.

11:26, it hurts you that it didn't pick up metal at Cannes doesn't it? Kind of goes to show that you didn't beat much at Sirens. And that maybe some of the detractors may have been on to something.
I'm just giggling quietly to myself because even after you've spent all this money entering into awards all over the world, so many people still think it's arse.

Anonymous said:

12:16 yes, a bit hurt but it's still great to be shortlisted on all major awards. But, enough about me, what about you? How did YOU fare? I'm still waiting...

Winning An arguement on the blog is as satisfying as winning a meat tray in the state of Texas.

Nobody cares.

I'd love to win a Texan meat tray. It'd be fucking huge.

In fact, I'd rather win a Texan meat tray than the NY Fests.
