Publicis Groupe buys digital-marketing agency Razorfish from Microsoft for $530 million

In a move that will generate 25% of Publicis Groupe's revenue from digital, the holding company will buy Razorfish, the digital-marketing agency owned by Microsoft since 2007, in a cash and stock deal worth about $530 million, according to AdAge.com. As a result, Amnesia Razorfish, Sydney will become part of Publicis, owner of agency brands Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett, and part owner of Publicis Mojo.
