Mmmmm, I wonder how many people walking/driving past will stop and go, "Oh look, a hand painted billboard to demonstrate the ritual of pouring a glass of Stella Artois."
Sorry. For mine, this is just one of those navel-gazing exercises where the creators say, "Aren't we clever!"
Ordinarily, I would agree with you, 3:14 PM, unless the billboard is backed up by an effective PR campaign.
Guy Rooke did this for real New Zealand bacon, and it featured heavily on the internet. I would be surprised if the team that did this hadn't already seen that.
All kiwi outdoor campaigns feature heavily on the internet. In fact, that's the biggest part of their media spend.
