Steve Ayson commits to The Sweet Shop globally
Says The Sweet Shop CEO/managing partner, Paul Prince: "Steve is
very talented and ambitious. He looks for brilliance in ideas, his work
has it's own style of inventiveness and having been a creative, he
seeks to collaborate with the best people. The Sweet Shop has been
successful in supporting these goals regionally and now having
deliberately created the architecture, we are in a great position to
provide opportunity for Steve globally."
Ayson's style of humour, impeccable casting and sharp story telling, have won him international acclaim and awards. He has created unforgettable and entertaining spots, like MTV "Gunter" for John Doe Amsterdam, Folgers "Shiny Happy People" for Saatchi & Saatchi New York and Tooheys Extra Dry "Harvested" for BMF Sydney. These along with a highly prized and commercially distributed short film 'The French Doors' continues to define Steve as a great director.
Says Ayson: "I've been very fortunate to have had the backing of such great companies based in London and the US, but it now makes sense for me to consolidate my management to coordinate and concentrate on the great work that's been coming my way. I've a strong support structure around me with The Sweet Shop, so with the increasing opportunities I'm seeing, this will free me up to focus solely on my work being the best it can be and evolving my style for the people I collaborate with."
Having joined the company a year ago, global president/managing partner, Stephen Dickstein comments: "I have to admit that it's really rewarding to have a director of Steve's calibre and worldwide recognition join our ranks. In the tradition of Tom Kuntz, Stacy Wall and Frank Budgen, before directing, Steve got his training as a well-regarded agency CD. We have in the last twelve months committed to global growth, expanding in the US and London. We are thrilled to have Steve with us globally!"
