Leo Burnett's Canning for Dubai Lynx jury

Michael Canning-NEW-web.jpgThe Dubai International Advertising Festival, incorporating the leading advertising awards honouring creative excellence across the Middle East and Africa, has announced the members of the four juries, which includes Michael Canning (left), senior creative at Leo Burnett, Sydney. Chaired by some of the world's top professionals, this international group of 21 leading creatives and media experts from ten different countries will meet in Dubai to judge and award the best creative work and ideas of the region.

The TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio Jury will also judge the new Craft category, which launches this year awarding excellence of craft technique over and above the creative idea of the work.
David Nobay.jpgThe Integrated Jury will be chaired by David Nobay (left), creative chairman of Droga5 Australia, who also leads the Direct, Sales Promotion and Interactive Jury, and is made up of members of the three juries, including jury presidents Amir Kassaei and Barry Cupples.

"With ideas and creative parameters that are unique to the region, the work goes from strength to strength. As such, we have brought together a strong group of international high-calibre experts whose decisions will lead the region's industry forward," said Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions, who, with Motivate Publishing, organises the Festival.
