TSD revamps studio facilities
Sydney based audio production studio TSD have just upgraded their studio installing Fairlight's award-winning Xynergi Media Production Centre. The Xynergi organizes and delivers a suite of media processing tools needed for high end audio for video production and in all widely used formats.
The main reason for choosing the Xynergi was the sound quality and ease of file transfers. TSD is doing less tape based work and more file based. The new system will speed up the work flow in advertising audio post production. The ability to drag and drop OMF and virtually any video file format onto the timeline and have it ready for instant playback is a massive time saver.
As part of the studio's upgrade, TSD has also installed Fairlight's XE-6 fader extension module, Virtual Studio Runner, an Audiobase 3 server and a variety of plug-ins. The Virtual Studio Runner will allow TSD to immediately send clients finished mix files (email or ftp) straight out of the system, with integrated vision if required, without leaving the project.
