AMI's Victorian State Awards for Marketing Excellence announced today

Picture 6.pngThe Australian Marketing Institute announced the winners of the 2010 State Awards for Marketing Excellence at a lunch presentation today in Melbourne. These state awards are for those marketing programs that were conducted within Victoria. National campaigns are entered directly into the national awards. presented at a gala dinner as part of this year's Annual Conference on 13 October 2010 at the Sofitel Melbourne. 

Among the winners was the 'Massage en Masse' campaign for Tourism Victoria via Play Communication which won in the Experiential and Brand Experience Category. On Tuesday 30 March, a new Guinness world record was set with 263 simultaneous massages - the previous record for the largest ever simultaneous massage was 167 people, set in 2009 in Washington DC. 'Massage en Masse' was strategically developed to position Daylesford as Australia's spa and well being capital.

"The record number of Victorian entries along with the high quality of submissions highlights the ability of marketers to clearly articulate and measure the results of their marketing efforts," said Australian Marketing Institute CEO, Mark Crowe. "My congratulations go to all the Victorian entrants, finalists and winners for their contribution to a very competitive 2010 Awards for Marketing Excellence."
