Senior writer Mitch Mitchell resigns from The Brand Agency, Perth to join Marketforce
Marketforce MD John Driscoll said it was "fantastic" news for his agency, with another senior creative appointment - believed to be an art director to partner Mitchell - expected to be announced shortly.
Mitchell is the fourth senior departure from The Brand Agency's creative department in the last two months. Art director Danielle Glenister joined 303 and Josh Edge & Rikki Burns went to Longtail. However, on the plus side, former Marketforce senior team Murray Laird and Steve Lorimer joined The Brand.

Ah, the merry go round. Good luck to all involved, i don't doubt there will be more movement in other agencies too!
I'm guessing that after Hendrix and the Experience, The Brand Agency just didn't have the lustre for ole Mitch.
Hopefully, Marketforce can release him from that clause in his previous contract where he had to groom himself to look like the love child of Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane of the Small Faces. Those sideburns are in serious jeopardy of becoming mutton chops, but facial hair is the new black, so . . .
Frankly, I preferred the afro from his time with Jimi, but the maintenance for that one is brutal.
It's wacky out there in WA. Must be the fumes coming off of those refineries from the mining boom. Allot of flashbacks.
Perfect. Hair.
What's happening Gazza?
I think we did the Hendrix drummer joke when his previous appointment was made on the Blog. I know, because I did it.
I like his look and I'm 50 . . . . maybe that's why. But it's a good look mate, keep it up.
And the weird thing is, he looks like a young Mitch Mitchell.
@Early Adopter
Anything worth doing well is worth repeating, at least that's the motto at The Monkeys.
Why do you think they call it copywriting?
Did his parents really call him Mitchell Mitchell?
@Andrew Andrew
Clearly, a name worth repeating.
More Lobby Lloyd than Mitch Mitchell.
But no Coloured Balls.
No - they didn't call him that!
His real name is Darren Mitchell...
