Bestads Top 6 of the week reviewed by Toby Talbot, group ECD, DDB New Zealand

Not quite in the same league, so to speak, as Fox Sports 'Beware of things made in October' but to be fair it did make coffee come out of nose in the airport lounge when I saw it today. ESPN's 'Is It Monday Yet? is nicely on brand, from the ambiguous animal in the wall to the hefty weapon the bewildered woman is entrusted with.
Runner up. Nepotism rears its ugly head again folks (but at least I admit it unlike Jay Benjamin the other week - bad Jay!) VW Jetta from our DDB cousins across the ditch. 'You'll never forget your first car' uses the same technique made famous in Prodigy's 'Smack my bitch up' video. Only the subject matter is a little more demure this time around. Beautifully observed.

Domino's. One of those, 'shit, why hasn't someone thought of that for them before ideas'. Immensely campaignable in retail, which is pretty handy if you're a global pizza chain.
No runner up. Sorry. Not feeling it for the others.

BEST OUTDOOR
Road Safety Hawkes Bay posters with conjoined car brands. Who says visual collisions can't be cool. I drove past one of these posters the other day and nearly crashed my car it was so distracting, which was kind of ironic.
No runner up. Nothing came close.

BEST INTERACTIVE
Ariel Fashion Shoot is bonkers. Don't know who had the idea of remotely shooting gallons of lingonberry jam at T-shirts in an installation at a railway station using a cool robotic gun that you can only activate on Facebook but clearly they were snorting something. My guess is Ariel.
Runner Up: OK Go. Sounds great in theory. Would love to have seen the video though.
