Publicis Mojo Sydney creative Justine Armour lands plum gig at Wieden + Kennedy, Portland
CB Exclusive – One of Publicis Mojo Sydney’s top creatives, Justine Armour, who left the agency at the end of September, has landed a gig at Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, arguably the world’s hottest agency.
Amour told CB she will be working on the Chrysler Dodge business and should land in Portland close to Christmas.
As a result, her husband Simon, who is currently a senior copywriter at JWT Sydney, will be eventually be joining her in Portland.
At this stage it is unclear whether Armour’s former creative partner Ruth Bellotti, who also left Mojo at the end of September, will be joining her – or pursuing other opportunities in the US. Currently Bellotti is holidaying in Positano.
As reported back in September, their departures come just over two months after ECD Micah Walker quit the agency, as reported exclusively by CB back in July, resulting in Mojo regional chief creative officer, Craig Davis taking on creative leadership responsibilities for the Sydney office.
Armour and Bellotti’s lastest work at Mojo was the highly regarded Hahn ‘Pioneering Beering’ spot directed by Tom Kuntz. Another co-creation was the James Boag’s Premium ‘Glassblowers’ spot. Separately Bellotti co-created the awarded Burn ‘Ride’ campaign while Armour co-created the James Boag’s Draught print campaign.

Congratulations! Great gig.
Happy days for JWT!
Interesting. Why happy days for JWT??
Nice to see a woman landing the top job and her husband having to follow her overseas, instead of vice versa. Go girls!
Will be interesting to see what they output without Micah’s hands-on approach.
That deserves TWO teas!!!! xxx
Dear congrats,
Pointing that out is in itself sexist.

Good work Mrs.
Well done, well deserved.
Does rather make letting her leave look like yet another serious error of judgement doesn’t it?
Good Luck to you Justine and Simon. What a fantastic opportunity
Congrats Jus
Very proud of you

No more speculation about Ruth’s husband’s job, Lynchy? From you I was expecting more poor form around this topic.
no one cares anymore – at the end of the day, if the client doesn’t miss a creative – the agency won’t either.
Happy days indeed!
And to think Ive producer for her….so proud. x
Not easy to get in there, so well done!
