Droga5 New York appointed advertising agency of record for Heineken Newcastle Brown Ale brand

brown ale.jpgHeineken USA, America’s leading upscale beer importer, today announced its selection of majority Aussie-owned Droga5 New York as the advertising agency of record for its Newcastle Brown Ale brand.

Droga5’s responsibilities for Newcastle Brown Ale will include strategic and creative development to support brand growth in the U.S.

Says David Droga (below left), founder and creative chairman Droga5: “Newcastle Brown Ale is a quality beer that doesn’t take itself too seriously, from a client with a big mandate and a history of investing in good work. This is a huge opportunity in my book.”

Thumbnail image for DROGA.jpgDroga5 will immediately assume responsibility for advertising, including digital, for Newcastle Brown Ale. This is the second brand in the Heineken USA portfolio that is currently working with Droga5; the agency also became AOR for Amstel Light in December.
