Pdd.jpgThe Advance Global Australian Awards celebrates Australians living overseas, who exhibit remarkable talent, exceptional vision, ambition and who are future leaders and innovators in their chosen field. They are the only awards to recognise the important contributions of the more than one million Australians living abroad.

In a presentation ceremony held in Sydney yesterday, David Droga, founder and creative chairman of Droga5, was awarded for his service to creative industry.

A distinguished group of Australian provocateurs and pioneers, who themselves have made a significant impact on the global stage, selected the winners.

The panel included Ken Allen AM, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Advance; Bridget Ogilvie AC, who was appointed Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) for service to science in the field of biomedical research; former Senior Vice President of IBM, Doug Elix AO; and Australian actress, Deborra-lee Furness.
