Client service director Fitzhardinge promoted to managing director role at Whybin\TBWA Sydney
Peter Fitzhardinge has been promoted to managing director of Whybin\TBWA Sydney effective immediately.
Fitzhardinge joined Whybin\TBWA as client service director 18 months ago, having previously been the general manager at Leo Burnett Sydney.
In that time, he has led the agency’s Insurance Australia Group business (NRMA Insurance), and Fairfax (The Sydney Morning Herald and Sun Herald) relationships, achieving strong effectiveness and creative success for his clients.
Says Paul Bradbury, CEO Whybin\TBWA: “We are very fortunate to have Peter as a key member of our agency team. The combination of Peter’s ‘hands on’ twenty plus years agency experience, his sharp strategic brain and remarkable people skills make Peter a very rare asset in this industry.
“We are all really excited to witness first hand the impact Peter will continue to make to the agency and our clients in his new role. Peter thoroughly deserves this recognition, and importantly will continue to lead our IAG and Fairfax business going forward. Fitzy you’re a legend.”
Says Fitzhardinge: “In this group, we have some of the best people I have ever worked with. To be given a role to partner Paul and develop the team together is a really wonderful opportunity for someone like me who loves this game. Sydney is crying out for an agency that is truly big and beautiful and that’s what I’d love us to be.”
As the group continues to grow, there will be an increased need to focus on the broader Whybin\TBWA Sydney group of companies. Nitsa Lotus, the agency’s general manager will also be given increased responsibilities across the group when she returns from maternity leave in October.
The Whybin\TBWA Group in Sydney includes Tequila, Integer, Eleven PR and Fleishman Hillard.

Congrats Pete. Well done. Well deserved. You’re an all rounder. Yewww
Fitzy embodies all that was good about old school suiting. He understands clients, builds relationships with them and ultimately earns their trust. He’s pretty nifty at doing the same with creatives. Smart move by Bradbury.
Well played Fitzy. Congratulations.
What happened to Nitsa?
Congrats Fitzy! Must be the briefcase.
