NXT STAGE Hollywood International Creative Commercial Art & Technique Awards and New Directors Showcase now open for entries

Screen shot 2012-06-30 at 7.00.50 AM.jpgNXT STAGE Hollywood Creative Commercial Art & Technique Awards & Festival along with the New Directors Showcase will be held September 11, 2012 in conjunction with the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival (LA Shorts Fest).  LA Shorts Fest is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences with 41 participants having earned Academy Award nominations and 12 Oscar winners. 
 
The entries - which can come from anywhere in the world - compete in the following categories:
·         Grand Jury
·         Best Foreign Commercial
·         Best Direction
·         Best Production
·         Best Cinematography
·         Best Editing
·         Best Copywriting
·         Best Production
·         Best Visual Effects
·         Best Animation
·         Best Music
·         Best Sound Design
·         Best Acting Performance
·         New Directors Showcase

Judging will be done by a diverse group of worldwide industry experts:
·         Georges Bermann - Founder - Partizan
·         Pelle Nilsson - Founding Partner/Exec. Producer - B-Reel
·         Ralph Laucella - Executive Producer - O Positive
·         Emmanuel Saccoccini - Executive Producer - unit9
·         Brian Latt  - Managing Director - Tool of North America
·         Tom Dunlap - Executive Producer - RSA Films  
·         Chia Tucker - Head of Sales - Gorgeous
·         Danielle Peretz - Executive Producer - Anonymous Content
·         Tom Gibson - General Manager - Film Construction
