Scene in Cannes: Aussies + Kiwis lunch at the Carlton Beach, watch Spain beat France while eating pizza, and farewell a brilliant festival
Here's some captured moments from the last couple of days, mainly centred on the Carlton Terrace and Carlton Beach, plus the various pizza bars watching Euro 2012.

absolutely another fun festival. Hard to not have a brilliant time in the sun with the Rose flowing. But as far as the actual content of the festival, certainly one of the weakest years on record. Never seen so many bad things win the big prizes.
Unhate for print.
Coke poster for out of home.
A hologram and homeless guy stunt winning a Titanium.
And then you have brilliant client created ideas winning GP for agencies.
Fuel Band was created by Nike but everyone acted like RGA made it.
Small Business Saturday. Amex initiation as well. Can TBWA enter the next iPhone into Cyber?
Chipotle which is a nice film but not a film GP and certainly not a break through in Branded content. Cannes has created a money making monster that they need to feed with Scam ads and more and more categories. Which in turn, means the juries are filled with worse and worse talent. The only award that was right on the money was the Lion of St Mark for Dan Wieden. well deserved.
Jet Lagged, what a great summary.
Everything below gold (and some gold) was really average, including the two Aussie outdoor pieces (Ogilvy and Clems). But the Titanium lions are a fucking disgrace.
