Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill supports Mexican winners with launch of '2pm Taco Frenzy' promotion
Mexico's sporting performance historically has not been good. Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill are showing support for Mexico's medal aspirations uniting sport and tacos together.
Any time Mexico wins a medal, Salsa's will declare that day officially as a '2pm Taco Frenzy'; meaning free tacos for everyone for an hour.
Anyone who mentions the Mexican medal in-store will receive two free tacos, running for one hour between 2-3pm.
Sporting chances for free tacos Mexican medals are:
Taekwondo - In 2012, eyes will be on opening ceremony flag bearer MarĂa Espinoza, who won gold in taekwondo in 2008 - one of only three medals her country took home from Beijing.
Diving - Joaquin Capilla is a four-time medallist. He competed for Mexico in three Games, winning two bronzes, a silver and a gold and is the top Mexican medal winner of all time.
Soccer - The men's soccer team, including Tottenham Hotspur forward Giovani dos Santos, should progress well from its group and face off against other football heavyweights in the finals.
