Sydney's Heckler move into former Paramount Pictures building - doors open Monday July 23
Sydney post house Heckler has moved and from tomorrow will officially trade from its new home, the art deco landmark - the former Paramount Pictures building.Built in 1940 the building is a classic example of inter-war art deco grandeur. Designed by Henry Pynor, it is one of few surviving buildings recording the boom in Australian cinema development in the 1930s. Others include the nearby 20th Century Fox building and the Hollywood Hotel.
Heckler doors open for business on Monday 23. The new HQ affords the
space to accommodate four state of the art suites and over 50 artists.
Will Alexander, executive producer said the entire (ever growing) team was thrilled to be moving despite the mammoth task ahead.
Says Alexander: "Its such a great space and amazing mix of old and new, hi-tech meets history. We are really looking forward to building our existing relationships and developing new ones in this magnificent, creative space."
The post house has established quite the rep for hosting large and extravagant parties which one assumes won't change in the new digs.
Says Alexander: "You can expect a stack of fantastic events. Not to mention our infamous birthday parties. We will turn two in the last week of September so that will be a big one."
Looks as if the 48 newly installed speakers will get a workout.
