Vodafone Ireland strategist Alex Siewert set to join BMF Sydney in strategy director role

BMF has appointed Alex Siewert – currently with Vodafone in Ireland as a senior strategist – as a strategy director in its Sydney office.

Siewert has had a varied career starting as a suit in London with Grey and AMV. Siewert then moved on to be department head, strategic & creative intelligence at AMV in London.

Following AMV Siewert was a brand strategy director at Naked in London. Siewert then moved to the fledgling office of AKQA in New York to be their head of strategic planning.

Says Chris Kay, managing partner: “We hunted high and low for someone to complement the skills we have in the strongest planning department in the country. Alex’s background shows he will bring a lot to the agency, and we are looking forward to him starting.”
