Adelaide ad industry set for shake-up as digital shop Fnuky becomes fourth THEM acquisition
The move brings together two of Adelaide's leading agencies and provides additional resources to THEM Digital's existing department.
Ervine told CB he will reveal future plans soon, which will include Fnuky's creative director David Campbell (above left). Meanwhile he will continue as a digital consultant while also running his own film and activation production company.
"We're extremely pleased to be welcoming the internationally and nationally awarded Fnuky agency," says THEM Managing Director, Mark Wightman (left).
"The acquisition provides a real rounding off to our digital services," Mr Wightman said."Fnuky's renowned creative talent is the perfect complement to our team which strives to deliver innovative, functional and cost-effective digital solutions to our clients. Coming on board will be a mix of government and SME clients plus up to half a dozen new employees."
The union will see THEM's staff numbers reach 35 and all will operate from the company's privately owned premises at Kent Town.
The agency's billings will also increase to in excess of $20 million in the next year.
At a time where agencies are feeling the pinch, Wightman credits the business' continued growth to its ability to adapt and stay ahead of evolving trends.
THEM's growing digital department is headed by Chief Operations Officer, Jeff Miller and Digital Account Director, Sarah Mann. The young Digital team are proud of their ability to partner with their clients to offer an original and strategically planned service.

Oh yes, I wonder how Adelaide will ever manage to fill the gaping hole that's been left behind....
So the porn palace Fnuky office closes down? It was better than the agency.
Hope you got 'em cheap, Mark.
