Adrian Brown signs with Sydney's Maven Productions in the role of photographer/director

brown.jpgSydney based production company, Maven, has signed Adrian Brown (left) as the latest addition to their photographer/director roster.

Brown brings significant print experience to the ambitious start-up, as well as a growing motion reel. His work on campaigns for Port Macquarie and Northern Territory Tourism are the most recent successes, with the former landing him with 2011's award for AIPP Australian Advertising Photographer of the year.
Says Brown: "While I passionately love stills photography, my photojournalistic, real life style of shooting and love of photographing people has naturally led me to using the same techniques for writing and directing motion. James at Maven understands my style as well as the huge benefits of offering both motion and stills in the one package and has the ability to pull it off."

Says James Whitehill, executive producer, Maven: "We're simply ecstatic that Adrian has joined us, with an impressive body of work that he could have taken anywhere. He is stepping out to add 'directing' to his 'stills' talent and we're delighted that he's allowed us to be a part of that journey. Adrian's ambition fits perfectly with our own and we look forward to producing future campaigns with him."

Port Macquarie has commissioned Brown for 2012's tourism campaign, due for release in September, incorporating both stills and motion.
