tumblr_m7rdweB3CB1r9pqsyo1_500.jpgOn Wednesday August 15 2012, Revolver (229 Chapel Street Prahran) will host the first taping of Feast Of Dan – Australia’s only movie trivia game show inspired by an experiment of the same name.

For all of 2012, host Dan Smith is watching the same 3 star romantic drama, “Feast of Love”, every single day.

Says Smith: “Why? Why not?”

Smith has previously hosted, produced and written a late night talk show (Last Night Tonight!) on

Channel 31 and claims he knows what he’s doing. Late last year his idea to watch the same movie every day for a year and write about it, spawned feastofdan.com and now halfway through 2012, while noticing a lack of any movie game shows on Australian television or social media, has decided to take matters into his own hands.

In attendance for the inaugural filming will be former Vogue editor Kirstie Clements, TV

presenter, radio hostess and The Circle regular Em Rusciano, Herald Sun entertainment

journo Cameron Adams and comedian/Nova FM guy Nath Valvo. They will be joined by

other local personalities, film professors and experts to have a few drinks and go head-to-head to find out who reigns supreme when it comes to knowing the most useless information about the movies.

Filmed live in front of an audience, and with DJ Cisco Rose spinning 80’s disco jams pre-show and Los Dos melting faces with their frenetic Mexican‐rock, Feast Of Dan will not only be a great television show, but a great event – where all proceeds from the night go toward feeding the homeless of Melbourne.

Doors open at 7.30pm with door prizes and drink specials running all night long. Gold coin donation for entry, but all the fun is free.
