DDB Melbourne's new ECD Darren Spiller lures Clemenger BBDO's Simon Bagnasco for CD role

simonbagnasco.jpgDarren Spiller, executive creative director of DDB Melbourne, has made his first major move since joining DDB last month by appointing Simon Bagnasco as creative director.

Says Spiller: "It's great hiring someone you respect and have worked with before because you know what you're getting and what I'm getting is a fresh way of looking at the world and great leadership qualities."

The major coup for DDB will see Bagnasco, who has spent the last two years at Clemenger Melbourne working on notable campaigns including NAB Home Loans 'Locked In', Strongbow 'White Out' and the Fat Yak Cup integrated promotion, back in the same fold as Spiller.
Says Bagnasco: "The decision to work with Darren again was an easy one. I'm really pumped about joining DDB."

Bagnasco whose work has been recognised at both international and local shows, including Cannes, One Show, MADC and AWARD, starts at DDB on 3rd September.
