Amblique is one of Australia's fastest growing digital consultancies with staff numbers increasing from 15 to 60 staff during the past 3 years to help manage accelerating client demand for services.
Founded in 1999, Amblique is currently engaged to deliver eCommerce solutions for 25 of Australia's biggest omni-channel players, including Sportscraft, SABA, Supre, Matt Blatt, Millers, Katies and Forever New.

Says Mike Connaghan, chief executive of STW Group: "Our new partnership with Amblique enhances STW's capability in the highly specialised areas of eCommerce and online retail consulting and marketing. STW's investment and partnership with Amblique is demonstration of the Group's digital and technology strategy in action and furthers our commitment to continue to invest to ensure we deliver leading edge digital solutions to our clients."

STW is the leading digital communications business in the Southern Hemisphere. STW expects digital revenues to approach $140m for Calendar Year 2012 (at 100% share) representing a 28% increase over the prior period.

Investing in Amblique is part of STW Group's formal digital growth strategy and provides additional strength to its current leadership position in the retail marketing industry. Many of the group's companies are already working with Australia's largest and most successful retailers.

Recent research (Forrester Research, 2012) indicates a majority of Australian online retailers are now selling via mobile and tablet devices, a trend driven by consumers who are increasingly expecting to be able to buy goods while on the move.

Says Justus Wilde, founder and managing director of Amblique: "Amblique is uniquely positioned to take advantage of these new consumer trends and preferences. With online retail now a major focus for many Australian retailers and as consumers adopt online as a convenient way to shop, Amblique can help its clients drive online sales and take advantage of the buoyant online sales market."

Amblique has developed high value IP and is the preferred partner for enterprise level eCommerce platform, Demandware.

Says Wilde: "Introducing Demandware to the Australian market is particularly exciting for us. Demandware's unique business model and world leading functionality is generating a lot of buzz in Australia and New Zealand. Demandware looks after Burton, House of Fraser, Barneys, Stella McCartney, Nine West, Adidas, Crocs and a plethora of other world-class brands."

The Amblique partnership will provide immediate benefits to many STW Group companies and their clients. Amblique is already working in partnership with several STW Group companies including Moon, Shift, DTDigital and others.

Says Connaghan: "We are very careful bringing new partners into the group, Amblique ticked all the boxes. Amblique's deep expertise will help accelerate growth for STW Group clients and our own companies. We're very excited to welcome the Amblique team into the STW Group."
