Deaf Children Australia celebrates 150 years with press & DM campaign via 10 feet tall, Melbourne
The commemorative mailer shows the changing face of deafness quite literally. It thanks the people that have donated and also potential donors. The creative execution features the face of an elderly deaf person Stanley Batson, formerly a student of the Victorian College for the Deaf in the original, iconic building in St Kilda Road, still housing the offices of DCA, as well as the face of a current young deaf child Lachlan Rosenberger.
The piece compares the differences each of these personalities has experienced, being deaf. The differences highlight the progress that has been made by DCA in breaking barriers.
