Nutritionist Lola Berry to become Almond Breeze brand ambassador in upcoming campaign

Lola Berry becomes brand ambassador for 'Almond Breeze' (2).jpgBlue Diamond Growers has announced that Lola Berry (left), one of Australia's leading nutritionists, will be the new brand ambassador for its non-dairy milk alternative product Almond Breeze.

The campaign led by ICON international Communications, will see Berry starring in a series of online video clips and will be underpinned by traditional and social media as well as POS activity.
Says Roger Ringwood, country director for Almond Breeze: "Lola was a natural fit for the brand, as she has an obvious passion for healthy eating and has frequently referred to almonds as being one of life's 'super foods'. Lola also has a friendly, down to earth approach to food, cooking and nutrition which fits well with the brand's personality."

Says Berry: "I often recommended people remove dairy from their diet, as cow's milk is quite hard for the body to digest and break down.

"I'm very happy to be with working with Almond Breeze, as it's not only incredibly healthy and natural, but it actually tastes good and is easy to include in your daily diet. Almond Breeze is also the only almond milk on the market with an unsweetened version which is an extra bonus, as we should all cut down on our sugar intake."

Says Ringwood: "Lola brings a whole new dimension to the brand in Australia through her expertise in the food and nutrition space. Lola's strong online presence also means she has potential to connect with many of our customers in Australia via her existing social media presence."

An unknown 'expert' as an ambassador for an unknown brand.
Great thinking.

Says Roger Ringwood, country director for Almond Breeze: "Lola was a natural fit for the brand, as a nutritionist with the surname "Berry" was a cosmic co-incidence just too strong to ignore."
