R U OK? Golf Day and Gala Dinner to be held Saturday, September 20th at Manly Golf Club, Sydney - in memory of co-founder Gavin Larkin

Participation in the event can help the organisation further expand its national suicide prevention day that inspired 1 in 5 Australians to connect with someone in their life in 2011.

The organisation strives to create awareness and emphasise the importance of open and honest conversations in stopping little problems becoming bigger. Golf is the sport that Larkin was most passionate about and a pastime he shared with his family, friends and business acquaintances.
 
This Golf Day is an opportunity to celebrate Larkin's contribution to suicide prevention, as well as to meet with potential supporters and sponsors interested in continuing his legacy. R U OK? hopes to create a truly memorable day that is both fun and inspiring for all.
 
Simply by attending, members of the industry will be actively supporting R U OK? and will be informed of how they can make a difference to many Australians lives in the future.

Golf Day
The day will consist of an 18 hole ambrose event, with a shotgun start at 11.30am. Manly Golf Course has just been completely redesigned by Peter Thompson to provide both a challenging test of golf and to maximise the natural beauty of the manicured fairways and natural features of one of Sydney's foundation clubs.

The event will include all of the traditional corporate golf day activities, including a putting competition, longest drive and various activities created by the hole sponsors.

It will be preceded by brunch served on the lawns overlooking the practice facilities. Golfers are welcome to use all club facilities on the day, including the conference and meeting facilities.  The field will be restricted to 144 players and both official PGA handicapped players and "social golfers" are welcome.

Price: $300 + gst. per player - including gala dinner.

Dinner
All golfers and guests are invited to attend a gala dinner at the beautiful Manly Golf Clubhouse, regarded as one of Sydney's finest Georgian Meditterranean buildings.

Beginning with drinks and canapés on the terrace as the sun comes down on the golf course.  Dinner will be served in the Apperly dinning room, with a menu from the club's award winning chef and all refreshments are included.
 
The evening will feature live music, a silent auction, main auction and addresses from the R U OK? ambassadors. It will also include the prize giving from the Golf Day.

Price: $200 + gst per person.

Sponsorship
R U OK? is seeking sponsorship for various components of the Golf Day from individual hole sponsorship to Golf Day activities, major auction items and overall event sponsorship. A set of appropriate benefits for sponsors have been created, with the inclusion of four Golf Day packages, course and dinner signage and other tailored activities can be created with the sponsors.
 
Price: Packages start at $3,800 + gst per hole which includes four golf and dinner tickets. All support is welcome.
