realestate.com.au to run tactical 'Mick Malthouse' ad in tomorrow's Herald Sun via BWM

REAL-ESTATE-MICK.jpgBWM has created a tactical print ad for realestate.com.au  which will appear in the Sports section of tomorrow's Herald Sun.

It's the latest component of their spring marketing campaign which looks to play on the recent speculation in the media about Mick Malthouse taking over the reins as the coach of the Carlton AFL club.
realestate.com.au's spring campaign hit the market on 25 July with a mixture of metro and community print publications, radio ads, rich digital media and video content around the country.

They also recently launched a TVC titled 'Tap Tap nationally as part of their spring marketing campaign. Tap Tap highlights to agents and consumers, just how easy it is to use realestate.com.au to sell, search and buy property - wherever you are.

realestate.com.au has been on air since 18 August in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Central Queensland, on channels Seven, Nine, TEN, 11, Go!, GEM, 7Mate and Foxtel.

To do a really good tactical ad you need three things:

a quick-thinking agency that can come up with the idea the very moment it's genuinely topical.

a quick-acting client who can actually approve something on the spot, rather than fuck around until it's old news.

a really good idea that's genuinely funny and surprising.

It also helps if you don't follow the tired formula of writing a headline starting with 'Hey (name)...
