Renegade Films' new 2-part documentary 'Subtopia' will air tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 11th) at 10:00pm on ABC1, with part 2 on September 18th.The documentary profiles Adrian Doyle, an artist and bohemian businessman born on the wrong side of the tracks.
As the dynamic face of the urban art world in Melbourne - part artist, part academic, part entrepreneur and part social activist, he runs the Blender Studios that houses some of Australia's finest practitioners of urban art.
The new two-part documentary produced in association with ABC TV's Artscape program reveals how the ambitious artist is just holding it all together as he struggles to juggle multiple projects that both frustrate and excite the art establishments.
