You can live without it - that's the message in this spot created by Clemenger BBDO, Adelaide for South
Australia's Motor Accident Commission - highlighting the dangers of
being distracted by your mobile phone - whether it's answering a phone call or texting.
Superb storytelling - builds tension and drama without the gory denouement we've come to expect from other accident commission ads around Australia. Really nice work. Will it stop some drivers from pandering to online distractions? Maybe. Best you can ask for, I suppose.

It took a minute to get to that...
Why 60 seconds? where did the story go.
And casting.....please... Adelaide isn't rich with talent is it...?

Doesn't reframe the problem or offer a new twist on it, but fairly engaging and a sound idea overall. Great for doing self-contained cut-downs from, too (15 seconders, e.g the Twitter bird, hologram gal pal, etc.) to extend the media mileage.

Nicely done.
Good line too.
Just reckon it could have done without the VO and the people turning off their phones.

Good to see the agency still delivering the goods after the departure of whatzisname and thingummybob.
