Spikes Asia: 303Lowe Sydney/Perth takes out Promo & Activation Grand Prix for Ikea Catalogue 'Rent' campaign; six Gold to Australian agencies
The same work won a Yellow Pencil at D&AD back in April.
It was a big night for Australia, with six of the 10 Gold Spikes awarded going to Australia.
Whybin\TBWA Sydney won two Gold Spikes for MJ Bale 'Grazed on Greatness' and Naked Communications, Sydney won Gold for Coca-Cola 'Share a Coke'.
Of the 14 Silver Spikes awarded two went to Naked Communications, Sydney for Art Series Hotels 'Steak Banksy'; two Silver Spikes went to Whybin\TBWA Sydney for NRMA 'Car Creation'; and Leo Burnett Melbourne won Silver for Slurpee ''BYO Cup Day'.
Of the 12 Bronze Spikes awarded, one went to VML Sydney for Asics 'Run with me'.
303Lowe national ECD Simon Langley told CB:"It's just brilliant to see this campaign recognised again, this time with a Grand Prix. I'm thrilled for the entire team across both the Perth and Sydney offices who collaborated on the idea, and also for our fantastic clients Nigel and Nat who were brave enough to buy such a different approach to the brief."
