Telecom NZ recruits 'talking animals' to ask the questions in new online campaign via Droga 5

Screen shot 2012-09-05 at 10.22.56 AM.jpgTelecom NZ tasked Droga5 New Zealand and kiwi production company Toybox to create a website where questions New Zealanders typically ask the telco can be answered in the one place, quickly and easily.

The content of the site is based around interviews conducted by the agency with real people from all walks of life.

After identifying the key insights, the audio of genuine customers with genuine questions was brought to life using animated animals.

Derivative nonsense.

Why would you even try and rip off the great Creature Comforts Aardman idea?
Must be junior creatives on this job who have no idea how globally acclaimed this short film was.

Though this campaign is a poor copy

And don't even polish it up with a case study, Droga 5.
Who in their right mind would ever try and pass this off as their own idea?
