8com director Dan Reisinger's short film 'Status Update' off to NYC + San Jose - screening tonight at Sydney's the Chauvel, Paddington at 6pm

Dan Reisinger's new short film entitled  "Status Update" has been selected by the San Jose film festival and the Friar's Club Comedy Film Festival in NYC (The legendary Friar's club's members include top comedians and entertainers such as Frank Sinatra, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Jerry Seinfeld).

In celebration of this achievement, 8com is inviting members of the industry to come down tonight to the Chauvel in Paddington at 6pm sharp for the premiere screening and a few drinks afterwards.

The film stars Adam Dunn as a guy whose every Status Update comes magically true. Reisinger and Dunn have worked together on several successful projects including the Vanish Napisan "Sponsor The Whitehouse" Campaign, which picked up numerous gongs for Havas Worldwide. It was featured in the D&AD book and won 5 Cannes Lions.
