This year Pause brings you one of the masterminds behind Amon Tobin's
extremely successful visual show ISAM - executive creative director of
Leviathan, Jason White who will be speaking at the premiere speaker
event PauseStage. Pause Fest will also feature the world premiere of
Leviathan's visually astounding short film "Lilith" at the Future Shorts
screening in ACMI's Cinema 1.
Jeremy Boxer, director of Vimeo Festival & Awards and creative director of Vimeo, will be speaking about the future of online video at PauseStage as well as making an announcement about a new feature on Vimeo.
With the festival also featuring PausePlayground - intimate industry workshops - comes two workshops, Mapping People in Space, from ARUP who are flying in Francesco Anselmo from their London office especially for the occasion.
As well as this, Alexandra Sundqvist from Hyper Island will be holding a special workshop entitled The Transformative Force of Technology at PauseStage. With Iloura's workshop, Pitch, Create, Animate already sold out, tickets for this workshop will sell fast.
The festival will also see the Australian premier of Abi Morgan's critically acclaimed Lovesong filmed in breathtaking HD by Digital Theatre (London).
Pause Fest's opening night on Novemeber 8 will include a specially curated screening of Animated Shorts followed by a catered networking event with live music at ACMI's Optic Bar.
