International College of Management, Sydney appoints ICON as its communications agency
The college, located in the old St. Patrick's Seminary overlooking
Manly, is one of Australia's leading business schools and has been
recognised as an international leader in management and applied industry
training.
Says Tim Maillet, vice president new business at ICMS: "We've engaged ICON to help us reposition the ICMS brand and raise awareness of the wide range of courses available as we're a lot more than just a hospitality school, which is the only thing we're primarily known for.
"We're looking forward to reaching prospective students and highlighting that we also offer a fully accredited Bachelor in Business Management, specialising in degrees such as retail marketing, international tourism, events, property or sports management."
ICON will work closely with the ICMS team to deliver a strategic PR program which includes stakeholder and media relations, internal communications, events and social media activity.
Says Chris Gray, managing director of ICON: "We're delighted to be appointed by one of Australia's most innovative and international business schools. It was a natural fit, particularly with our offices in ICMS' key target markets such as Singapore and Indonesia. Our agency can also tap our international network to reach into other parts of Asia, Europe and the US, which are key markets for the college."
ICMS currently teaches 1500 students from over 40 different countries from which approximately half are from Australian and New Zealand, whereas the remaining students are equally split between Asia, the US and Europe.
