SheSays holds official launch party in Melbourne to help more industry women make it to the top

KaraJenkins_Colour.jpg.jpg.jpgSheSays, the international networking and mentoring group for women working in digital, marketing and advertising, was last night launched in Melbourne driven by Kara Jenkins (left) creative director at leading digital communications agency Visual Jazz Isobar.

Already established around the world in places like New York, London, LA, Singapore and Sydney, SheSays exists to support women in the marketing industry through networking, mentoring, education and collaboration.
SheSays_Canvas_v01.jpgSays Jenkins: "I first heard of SheSays in Cannes last year and was inspired to bring SheSays back to Melbourne.

"According to The Communications Council, 26% of management roles in Australian marketing communications agencies are held by women. We'd love to see more women make it to the top locally."

"Our hope is that SheSays helps give women the support and motivation to achieve their ambitions, and to see the top positions filled with the very best talent, both male and female."

SheSays Melbourne is open to membership of any females working in digital, marketing and advertising, and will hold monthly networking events hosted by members and featuring presentations from successful women within the industry. A mentoring program will be established and in conjunction with SheSays Sydney, the annual Golden Stiletto Awards, the industry's only wearable award - winners receive a pair of gold high heels.

The Melbourne launch of SheSays is supported by Aegis Media. Register your interest in attending future SheSays events by emailing SheSays Melbourne here. For further information, visit the global website here or the Australian Facebook page here.
