Entry deadline fast approaching for Adshel's annual Creative Challenge in Melbourne - entries close Wed Nov 7, event on Wed Nov 14 at 6pm

adshel-thumb-400x233-88648.jpgEntries for Adshel's annual Creative Challenge will close next Wednesday, November 7th. Advertising creatives have just a week to register for the event which takes place on Wednesday, November 14 at Thousand Pound Bend in Melbourne from 6pm to 9:30pm.

The event, on Wednesday November 14 at Thousand Pound Bend, not only aims to promote the expression of outdoor creativity but will be looking for a concept that will drive home not-for-profit organisation, Step Back Think's anti-violence message with a $100,000 Adshel campaign.

The competition challenges Melbourne's creative professionals to develop an outdoor advertising concept. Competitors are given a brief and one hour to develop their concept. Step Back Think, is a youth-run organisation that seeks interactive ways to communicate their anti-violence message to other youngsters in hope to change their attitudes towards street violence.
 
Since its formation, Step Back Think have reached thousands of students across Victoria through education campaigns to help them understand the consequences to their anger-fuelled actions and in doing so reduce the levels of violence on the streets.

The full judging panel has now been confirmed including:

·       David Ponce de Leon, Creative Director at BD network
·       Eliza McDonald, Step Back Think

The winners will receive return flights, accommodation and $500 spending money to attend the New York Festival of Advertising. The winning team's agency will also receive five licenses of the latest Adobe Creative Cloud.
