Emergence announces second round of speakers

Emergence-thumb-400x254-90361.jpgMore than a dozen high profile international and local names will join the Emergence team and head to Margaret River for the biggest creative digital conference to hit Western Australia.

To be held in the stunning surrounds of Margaret River from 20-22 February 2013, this conference features three days of inspirational keynotes, informative panels, digital debates, educational masterclasses, networking events, collaborative sessions and sh#t hot showcases all rolled up with surfing, great wine, magnificent food and exceptional people.

Newly announced keynote speakers include Canadian Broadcaster and Media Pioneer, Moses Znaimer who has founded two-dozen popular Canadian television channels and stations, and Lars Rasmussen, Facebook’s Director of Engineering and co-founder of Google Maps.

Also joining the conference program will be Young Sohn, Chief Strategy Officer of Samsung Electronics; Othman Laraki, Vice President of Growth at Twitter; Adam Ferrier, Founding Partner of Naked Communications; and Kristen Vang, Co- Founder and Director of Strategy at Hatchd.

These new speakers will join a range of creatives, techs, entrepreneurs and investors coming to Emergence, providing a great opportunity to debate and showcase creative digital innovation. Areas of discussion will include The Digital Debate, Mapping Social Behaviour, Campaigns and the Mobile Space and Startups: The Journey of the Idea.
