StreetPoster.jpgTravel auction site, One Cent Flights, has launched its new social media campaign, inviting its growing fan base to take in the sites of Melbourne in a hunt for One Cent Flights street posters produced by freelance team Bloom & Barr who recently won MADC Creative Raw.

To get the campaign off the ground, the company has placed 300 posters in and around the inner city suburbs of Melbourne, giving everyone a chance to spot its white paper plane logo. As a reward, fans who tweet in a photo of themselves with the poster are rewarded with 20 free bids to use on any domestic or international auction at OneCentFlights.com.

Says Elliott Donazzan, founder of One Cent Flights: “I have always been a big fan of scavenger hunts which is why I am so excited about this campaign. It’s a fun thing to do and it’s an easy way for you to score some free bids.”

As part of the campaign, One Cent Flights is also promoting its upcoming travel packages, using rock street posters to encourage fans to get to their next festival or gig, with OneCentFlights.com.

Says Donazzan: “We are planning on shaking up the holiday season by offering our users exclusive festival packages. If you win one of our packages, you don’t have to worry about tickets or travel. We take care of all of that so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the music.”

The campaign runs until the new year but may be extended. While it is currently only people in Melbourne who have been offered the chance to spot one of the posters, One Cent Flights plans to run a similar campaign in Sydney and other capital cities across Australia.
