Expedia.com.au launches new 'Boastcard' social campaign for Aus + NZ sale via We Are Social

Expedia Boastcards (2).jpgExpedia.com.au, via We Are Social, has launched 'Boastcards', a new social campaign activation created to support Expedia's 'Summer Sale' in Australia and New Zealand and inspire travel.

The Facebook app, encourages fans of Expedia.com.au and Expedia.co.nz to share their travel 'Stories Worth Telling' on Facebook by creating their own personal 'Boastcards'.

The app consists of eight design themes, which are customizable so that travellers can create Boastcards in a few quick, easy steps.

The first 1,000 users can choose to physically send their Boastcard to a friend in Australia or New Zealand. Travellers are also eligible to enter a competition to win $2,000.

When creating their Boastcards, travellers are asked to provide details of the destination. With this information, they are directed to a world map that will serve them a deal based on where they have already visited, as well as show them Boastcards from the same region.

"The Boastcard app is a great way of creating fantastic user-generated content likely to be of interest to anyone with an interest in travel."
