Previously, Theophane was at Clemenger BBDO Sydney in the role of digital creative director but left due to cost pressures at the agency.

Says Theophane: “I’m stoked to be joining Holler. Our ambition perfectly aligned, it didn’t take us long to connect ; we both get a huge kick out of introducing ideas to technology and watching them make out under the mistletoe. And when you’re doing this for impressive clients such as Audi, Heineken, Reckitt Benckiser and Disney, you know great things can happen.”

Says Mike Hill, Holler CEO: “Theo’s talent and innovative approach fits in perfectly with Holler’s ethos. His hire strengthens our plans to continue bringing digitally centric creative ideas to all of our clients.”

Theophane is an art-based, strategically-minded creative whose multi-award winning work spans installations, apps, content and paid advertising across Europe, The United States and Australia.

A recent arrival to Sydney, Theophane has worked at some of the most renowned agencies in the world, including R/GA where he worked on Nokia, Nike, Pepsi, D&AD and Jaguar.

At Clemenger, Theophane conceived and developed ‘Mimeisthai’ – the world’s first spoken-word trending engine which debuted at TEDx Sydney this year and subsequently picked up Gold and Silver at Digital Asia and the London International Awards respectively.

His work often transcends the reach of traditional marketing, and has been exhibited at Contemporary Art Museum of Paris, featured in the New York Imagine Science Film Festival Museum of Moving Image, helped launch the 1st Annual Vimeo Film Festival. He is often invited to participate in global creative events such as the D&AD creative clinics, D&AD Judging and most recently spoke at Vivid Creative Sydney.

Says Theophane: “Roll on 2013, we’re looking forward to making beautiful, beautiful things.”
