Sydney's Maritime Museum launches adventure themed TVC via Bloke Sydney and Hackett Films

HackettFilms_Maritime_TVC02sml.jpgFor the summer of 2013, the Maritime Museum has launched three fun, family friendly exhibitions. The team at the newly formed agency Bloke, asked Hackett Films to create the adventurous tomboy character Lucy.

In the campaign Lucy has adventures through three distinct worlds; the super soaker toting 'Wetworld', steering her own vessel in 'Ships of the Sea' to getting all jolly in 'Pirates'. Lucy is a fun-loving, all-action kind of girl designed to appeal to both boys and girls with a slight skew to the girls.

HackettFilms_Maritime_TVC01sml.jpgThe character, painterly backgrounds and 3D props were all produced at a billboard print resolution giving Hackett a great kit of parts that they could hand over to Bloke to design the many display banners and print ads. Lucy can be seen all over Sydney, from the airport to the back of HackettFilms_Maritime_TVC03sml.jpgbuses and in an action-packed TVC featured on Channel 9, GO! and Gem.
