CB Exclusive: Nando’s set to launch ‘Eat Interesting’ campaign this Sunday via Banjo
CB Exclusive – On Sunday Nando’s Australia, via Banjo Advertising, Sydney, is launching a new campaign highlighting the latest phase in the restaurant group’s eating interesting positioning.
Highlighting the Nando’s restaurant experience, the series of 30 and 15 second commercials will be launched in digital and on TV this Sunday.
Nando’s, whose first Australian restaurant opened in 1990, is using the campaign to support its 270 + restaurants around the country.
Shot by Plaza Films’ Paul Middleditch, the commercials portray interesting conversations and situations that can happen when people take the time to stop and enjoy sharing a meal together.
The campaign will also be supported by cinema, OOH, radio and local area marketing initiatives.

Understand the strategy is trying to make Nandos look more ‘restaurant experience’ to justify high meal prices, but, it plain doesn’t feel Chicken.
Love it!! Fantastic idea!!
I liked the old guys one especially.
you can get wine and beer at nandos and sit down?
time to update the taylor square nandos to compete with Mad Mex
Gay son is a tired well worn cliche, the online dating and old guys scripts are better. But the line ‘eat interesting’ is trying too hard and the spots don’t really land that, whatever that is supposed to be.
The performance from the old guys is spot on. Nicely done.
At least this is better than the current stuff they use: all the stupid sexist, plain boring “no fat chicks” sexual innuendo rubbish.
The Old Guys one was excellently acted!
