The Sydney startup is the first of its kind - aggregating short-term retail and other space in a way that's never been done before.
"Despite a huge supply and need for short-term commercial space, no one has ever managed to aggregate and market it efficiently before," said Popup Brands founder and former art director Marianella Watman.

"Whether you're setting up a popup shop or bar or looking for casual mall space Popup Brands is the first place to look," she added.

Several of Australia's biggest shopping centre and real estate brands are already listing vacant short-term spaces at popupbrands.com.au.

Popup Brands is also working with various local government authorities to help them make more of their properties - including creative spaces and laneways.

"Popups are here to stay," commented Pete Watman, founding partner and creative director.

"It's an evolving market and the cool thing is we're actually contributing by serving it. Plus it's an exciting new step for us," he added.

Popup Brands is also helping people find someone to share a commercial space.
