Game over for M&C Saatchi Melbourne as Tennis Australia serves ad account to CumminsRoss
Despite denying the win after CB calls back on February 8, CumminsRoss, Melbourne has now officially won the Tennis Australia account, after a competitive pitch which included incumbent M&C Saatchi.
Says CumminsRoss managing director Chris Jeffares: “The power and energy around tennis and the Australian Open event is infectious, especially at this time of year. It’s such a great privilege to work with one of Australia’s leading sporting organisations and arguably our most high-profile global events.”
“It’s an awesome way to start the year for the CumminsRoss team and they worked incredibly hard in developing and sharing our vision for tennis.”

Makes a lot of sense. The work they’ve done for Jacobs Creek is amazing. As a major sponsor of the Aus Open, I find it hard to believe this would have gone unnoticed.
What clients does M&C Melbourne have left now?
Congratulations Mr Ross.
Meanwhile, at Sapient Nitro in Singapore…
“Explain to me again why we bought Sean Cummins’ agency for a huge amount of money and then let him resign and open a new agency that’s suddenly getting all these new clients instead of making him our ECD for the whole of the Asia Pacific rim.”
