Prior to Jungleboys, Hay was head of broadcast at George Patterson Y&R, Sydney. Hay brings with her experience on both the agency and production company sides; prior to her head of broadcast role, she was at Luscious International and before that she was in New York working for Y&R Brands.

Says Hay: “I’m thrilled to be a permanent part of the Jungleboys family and I feel very lucky to be surrounded by such talented and funny people.”

Previous executive producer Jason Burrows will now focus on growing its TV production slate which was given a huge boost in late 2012 when Screen Australia announced it was one of four production companies chosen for Enterprise Funding. The company will receive $700,000 over three years to develop comedy projects predominantly.

Says Burrows: “We’ve grown a huge amount in the last couple of years both in our TV commercial work and our TV work and, as much as I love the variety, it was no longer feasible for me to look after everything. It’s very exciting to have Alex on board. She is not only a fantastic producer who is loved by all of our clients and everyone at Jungleboys but she is also an incredibly smart woman with an in depth knowledge of both production and agency side. Unfortunately, she’s just better than me in many regards.”
